I kind of like the concept of a public journal that no one reads.  Whether or not anyone is actually reading this is besides the point.  It's fun to pretend.  It's like talking to myself, only online.  And so, I'm going to rant about old ladies who swallow too much.  It bothers me so when I see new children's stories featuring an old lady who swallowed a (insert inedible object here).  Somehow they're all objects that are going to be made into something else that is more obvious than watching an episode of Blue's Clues.  Back when I was little, the Old Lady swallowed an animal to catch the preceding animal, always at the risk of death.  Now s

It's been almost a year since I've updated this journal.  I don't know if anyone will even read this, but I figured I'd post something new by picking up my ongoing life commentary on fall.  Fall has always been my least favorite season.  It's not that I dislike fall.  It's just that I enjoy warm weather, and fall becomes a bit depressing for me as the temperature drops.  But fall seems to always pursue me like a desperate lover.  Each year I feel like it's showing me something new and beautiful, and I say in return, "No, Fall, I don't love you.  Let's just be friends, okay?"  But autumn doesn't seem to take no for an answer.  It keeps giving
